DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to this inaugural cocktail event\, raising funds to support McGrath Breast Cancer Nurses. \nNew Town Cricket Club has partnered with the McGrath Foundation\, through its National Pink Stumps Fundraising Campaign\, to create this not to be missed “Bat for Boobs” event. \nThis cocktail event will run alongside a Premier Women’s Cricket Game between New Town and North Hobart\, promoting women in sport. \nAbout the event: \nLocation: “The Marquee”\, New Town Cricket Oval \nDress code: Cocktail (with a splash of pink) \nPrice is all-inclusive;  beer|wine|sparkling and luncheon \nTickets are limited\, do not miss out. \nAbout the game: \nNew Town and North Hobart will be again combative in a replay of the recent T20 Women’s Final held in December. New Town managed to win the final\, but North Hobarts form in the longer 50 over format has been extremely good. Both teams will be star-studded with a host of current and former State and National players and underage representatives. It will be a wonderful showcase of female cricket in Tasmania. \nSenior contracted Tasmanian Tigers players representing their clubs in the game will be Nicola Carey (Aus)\, Naomi Stalenberg (Aus)\, Chloe Abel\, Amy Smith\, Sam Bates\, Meg Phillips\, Rachel Priest (NZ)\, Brooke Hepburn\, while current Tasmanian underage players Tilly Waddington\, Cassie McLaughlin\, Grace Pullen\, Ella Marsh\, Melodie Armstrong will grace the field. Former Tiger and NSW player Steff Defarra plus reigning Kim Fazakerley Medalist Emily Mifsud will also feature. Leading competition all-rounder Bonnie Davies will be looking to continue her impressive season\, with her performances catching the eye of State selectors.
